A Mini Session with Some of the Miller’s

At a recent family gathering, I got the chance to photograph my aunt and uncle, and my beautiful cousins. One traveled all the way from Ecuador for the mini photo session. Okay, she came for many other reasons besides that, but it was nice to take a few minutes away from the party to capture them all together, as that happens rarely these days. The main problem I have with these photos is that the two husbands are missing!
The great thing about mini sessions is they are low pressure and quick. I bet we were outside less than 20 minutes, and there was plenty of laughing and goofing around happening. We also took the opportunity to get some head shots of my aunt, who is an amazing artist, and my cousin Aimee, who is about to be famous all over Ecuador for her part in a new tasty cupcake shop.
It helps when your subjects are so lovely and have wonderful personalities and smiles!

The Beard’s

When I was discussing a family session with Mrs. Beard, she wondered about holding the session at their home. I loved that idea, and we had a beautiful morning to wander around their property getting lots of fun shots. They were easy and enjoyable to work with, and as you can see, very photogenic! I had to be sneaky to get some shots of their older son. Every time he saw my camera pointing his way, he would immediately look away. Little did he know it was too late. I got great photos of him anyway!
