I developed a love for art and creativity sitting at a metal desk in a small town southern Michigan elementary school. Over the years that love has manifested itself into a variety of creative endeavors. Art and English classes in high school and college led to a career in graphic and web design.
In the midst of college life I met Jer, and after a few years dating, we decided we liked each other well enough to get married. Several years later, we had our first little boy, and I resigned from my full-time job to be a work from home mom. I freelanced for local companies doing logo, web and print design and tried to learn how to manage a household (and I am still trying to figure that out).
I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, reading biographies and historical novels, photographing anything inanimate or animate, playing the drums in my church praise band and going on dates as often as I can with Jer.
