Take Me Home From the Ball Game

We let the kids pick one extra curricular activity each year. This year, DeanO chose baseball. We found that he prefers to bat left handed, even though he catches and does everything else with his right hand. He’s Armpitdexterkeyous. (Is that how you spell it? HeeHee) During this baseball season, he also got to attend a Detroit Tigers game with Jer. They were treated to a dinner buffet before the game and great seats at the game from Jer’s material supplier. He only got two tickets, so I stayed home with the rest of the crew and we ate non-traditional things for dinner. If Jer’s not going to be here for dinner, I just can’t bring myself to make a normal “meal”. Actually, most nights I can hardly bring myself to make a normal meal. Someday that desire to cook will return and I’ll be Paula Deen’s lost daughter, I just know it. In the meanwhile, pizza anyone?

He is such a cute little guy. I think boys look adorable with what we used to call “Teddy Bear” haircuts. What fun to go to a professional game too.
Sometimes when my boys were young and I didn’t have a man to cook for, we would have banana splits or something fun like that instead of a meal. The kids just loved it and it was easy to make.

I’m the same, if it’s just me and the kid at home then I wont be bothered to cook a regular meal… normal we end up having breakfast for dinner or something or I let him choose what he wants
He really is a handsome young man. I loved my boy’s hair all shaved liked that too but he nearly 13 now & we have entered the territory of hair gel and looking into mirrors.
