Evening Shooter
May 25, 2012 in Uncategorized
I have quickly decided that a sunny evening is my favorite time to take photos. DeanO and I took a walk down the road and we found many things to photograph in less than 1/4 mile of roadside. He uses my point and shoot and I practice with my DSLR. Today, I am sharing some of our photos from that walk.
DeanO was practicing different angles and perspectives on our evening walk. Then I let him edit a few of them in photoshop. He has a great eye for photography, he isn’t afraid to get a little dirty to get the shot, and he loves it. Below are his edited photos.
He added some texture to the one above.
And my personal favorite:
Note to you from DeanO, typed by DeanO:
my mom hase been very nice to let me go with her and let me take photos with her and it is very fun going
Isn’t he the sweetest coolest! (Mom’s of 8 year old boys aren’t allowed to use words like sweet in reference to 8 year old boys.)

How fun! Love your captures, the light in the earlier evening is spectacular!
Aw, what a sweetie! That’s so nice to have a little partner come with you to take shots! Yes, he does have a good eye!
Very nice shots. I love that you are training a future photo bug…that’s really special.
Beautiful pictures and how wonderful to share something like this with your son!
Well look at all that gorgeous bokeh- how nice.
Nice bokeh and depth of field in these photos! I like that your son is so interested in photography.
Thanks for sharing on Foto Friday,
Lori
You are right, evening is the best time to shoot – well, maybe except an early morning photo trip
